Wow, I've really been slacking off over the last few days, like, everywhere. BUT THIS WAS BECAUSE OF EXAMS, so a brief update is in order.
English:
Well, I kind of fucked this up by turning up fifteen minutes late because I ended up getting the wrong time table. They held the exam, but I had to run all the way to the exam room just so they didn't fail me on the spot- maybe the adrenalin rush gave me a boost in the actual exam? Anyway, I've been doing nothing but revise bloody Hamlet quotes and feminist theory all week, so when the question that came up was actually on the roles of Gertrude and Ophelia? I JUMPED FOR JOY. Except not because they'd have thrown me out if I'd done that. I think I messed up on the poetry question for picking a dodgy poem as a comparison, but still. I think I did enough. Hopefully.
History:
I wasn't late to this one! ... but I'd only done a grand total of one hour of revision. For all of Russian history from 1855-1964. Yeah. Though to be fair, I knew just about every single date anyway- for some reason, history always sticks in my head from the start better. Yet again, though, the questions that came up were an absolute blessing. Opposition to the government? Turning points? Yes please. I'm actually happy with how this one went, which must be a first for me. XD
So in short? On Tuesday and Wednesday I wrote 20 pages of sex, death, feminism, communism, Stalin and Tygers, and some of it wasn't too horrible and now my wrist hates me. Still got Biology to go, though, and that one really is going to screw me over.
