A coven is a family. A non-biological one, yes, but a FAMILY nonetheless. You get to pick them. but it's not as rosy as you think it will be. You find yourself repeating biological family patterns with your spiritual family

Many Witches I know work alone -- and only join with others for celebrations of the sabbats or moons. In older times Witches only meet a couple times a year in secret to honor the sacred days and work magic. We learn a lot through coven work -- be it about other people, about ourselves, and our work in the world. But I dont think a coven should define an individual.

There comes a time when working alone is needed to help further our growth I feel ...
Although working with a good teacher && within a good coven is always an amaxing experience

I'm a part of Vee's online class, but I'm kinda sucking at the moment. As ALWAYS. I'm going to probrably disengage from all formal Craft stuff for a while. I love Feri-but distance stuff bores the daylights out of me-I don't "feel it' the way I do when I'm in the presence of a teacher
