It's a hinderance yes, but as far as I know there is no way to get back wherever our homes are.

But all I know is we're in an apartment complex called Jigoku. Unless you like ghosts I'd tape up your windows and doors with red tape, it keeps them out.

Yeah, ghosts, but no there aren't any Necromancers as far as I'm aware. These are ghosts that inhabit the building. They seem to just have an aversion to red.
