I am using a supplement called Cosequin Equine on my pony with joint problems - there is a Canine version. Although there are lots of joint supplements on the market this one has ingredients at veterinary recommended levels unlike a lot of the others that don't work well. You get it from vets so your vet will be able to advise if he thinks it might help (probably after the anti-inflammatories). Aww thanks! I'll check it out. I have him on cod liver oil & some other joint thing that humans use too. Forgot what it's called but i'll check out that drug you mention.
