I woke up today feeling the clench of death in my lungs, meaning I think I've caught a cold.  The nurse gave me a mask at school and now I'm unable to see because breathing through it fogs up my glasses.  I hope I'm not feeling awful for LotR extravaganza tomorrow!  >_

I've been saying for years that we should use cold masks here! They just strike me as a good idea, but you've actually had the opportunity to put 'em to use. What do you think?

I can't wait until I get home so I can rip it off and actually be able to breathe again.

I'm amazed you even put the damned thing on. I know there are teachers and students at my schools who don't wear them when they're sick... Surely they couldn't have made you do it... Er, what am I saying. Sorry you have to wear it. -hugs-

The only thing that worries me is that I'll take a turn for the worse and not be in a condition to have you guys over at all. I'll keep you updated, though. It's probably just paranoia, but I got to school today and everyone was like "BE CAREFUL WITH THE ICHINENSEIS THEY ALL HAVE INFLUENZA." I'll be fine as long as whatever this is stays in my head/throat and doesn't go... south.

Want me to bring some American medications over? I don't have any cold and flu stuff (killed the last of it getting over David's cold, which, if that's what you and Nick now have gomen ne?) but I have decongestants (both drowsy and non-drowsy) and pain killers...

I'm feeling bloody awful too - I can feel the beginnings of a fever at the moment, so I'm hoping I get over it.
