I haven't written for a while, and since posting comments on other peoples' journals doesn't increase my word count, I guys I'll just have to write "zombie" a lot more in my own journal. Disclaimer stated, proceed at viewer's risk

You have more than 4 binders and countless computer files of wonderful, imaginative, unique stuff to your credit. If it never succeeds as a MUD, it most certainly could be turned in to fiction, roleplaying game or even screenplay material! Hey...artist friends (Piete, Kufner, etc.) could even make a comic book series out of it!
The creativity is the thing that really counts, though. Like the game you created in the sixth grade...such things never go to waste. It's even a little like planning a road trip or vacation; it's often the planning and dreaming that is just as interesting and involving as the actual journey albeit in a different way.
All the countless hours you've worked on the MUD have been very soothing to me, too. Kind of like sitting near someone who is knitting or sewing...just relaxing to be near. (I know I'm peculiar...oh well).
I hope you don't regret your time spent in the world of MUD. That would cause me sadness to think so.
