This life of constant travel is taking its toll on me. Moving to and from, person to person. I wish I could be home once more, quietly reading a book in peace. Oh, dear! I don't mean to complain -- er, I hear they call it "being emo" or something like that ... ah well ( Read more... )

Business. I'm paid to stand infront of very rich men and smile, tell them they've lost weight, and tell them how much they should pay us for our services.

It's rather boring. It's been my experience that as someone gets richer, they get less interesting.

I've yet to meet you. I'm Aizen Sousuke -- feel free to call me anything. And you are?

Oh well, my brother also handles some affairs like that, I was thinking it sounded somewhat similar.

Well, someone has to do it, I suppose.

Apologies, sir, I'm Kuchiki Rukia, general crew of Future 7. Pleased to meet you.

Ah! A sibling of the famous Captain. I suppose our jobs are quite similar, although I suppose I am his superior.

Although, if I were on his ship, I would give my proper respects. His order is law there, as it should be. I sure hope you're enjoying your time with him.

Can't be too bad, right?

Ah, Mr. Aizen, ev'ryone says that 'bout my smile. Seems like people just don't get optimists these days. And believe me, the pleasure's all ours. We're happy to have ya with us!

Captain Ichimaru! I cannot thank you enough. You are a very valued member of our prestigious company. I'll be sure to let Mr. Yamamoto know.

As for optimists, yes, I must agree. Everyone seems to view the galaxy as half-empty these days. I suppose, though, if the two of us keep smiling, perhaps it will catch on.

Excuse me, Mr. Aizen, but his name is Hanatarou Yamada. He is quite delicate and I am most likely very saddened by your forgetting his name, unintentional though it was.

I believe it is custom for high-ranking officers to learn the names of their subordinates to improve employer-employee relations. I may be wrong.

Yes, yes. Curious how we haven't met yet, although perhaps at dinner we shall see one another, mm? I shall introduce myself again then, but for the meantime, Aizen Sousuke.

A pleasure.

Kon? That's quite a unique name. Probably difficult to pronounce ... that K is always a tricky letter. Con? Cone?

You probably get this all the time, though. I'm so glad "Aizen Sousuke" is common and easy. A common name for a common man! Ha.
