Final proof I needed that my ex-favorite band has sold out. Okay, well, the whole Ipod thing was a sure sign and then I get a letter in the mail from U2.com telling me that because I had joined their Propaganda Mailing list a bit ago and it has since been canned, I can join their website at a discounted rate of $20. u2 sold out long ago. that big "popmart" (or whatever it was) with the spiderman suits and big, flashy shows convinced ne they weren't that same little band they were in the 80's (a la "i will follow").
i don't listen to anything new. i am officially one of those old people who says "you call that music? i'll tell you what music is..."
