Try as I might, I cannot understand this rambling bit of tripe. and I like the way how at the end of this informative Kangaroo article they throw in the fact that roos didn't evolve. no. they didn't. the amount of species specific to australia fascinate me as a scientist.
this is a snag in both the evolution and creationist beliefs.
i, being a Christian and a science teacher see truth in both.

I don't see why it's so difficult for these people to see evolution as a tool of God. I mean don't you think God is too busy after some point to babysit and create new animals? wouldn't he make the universe so it could pretty much run itself? you don't want to spend your whole live tooling with your car? or your stove? why would God?

it makes it simpler if organisms can evolve themselves. Which I realize this is sort of the outlook that God is passive....but, maybe he's too busy reading his prayer emails (have you ever seen Bruce Almightly?)

This reminds me of that Gary Larson cartoon where God is rolling snakes and he says, "Wow! this is easy!"

I don't understand why they fight evolution so much when it can easily be seen by me as a tool of God.

anyway, I realize I'm preaching to the choir so to speak.

I would love to visit australia...but it's so far away and costly. maybe one day before I die I will.
