My dad's nickname for me used to be Fred. Occasionally, he will still call me that.

Same with mine! Except he called just about everyone Fred, and I don't think I've heard him say my actual name more than 10 times in my life.

I figure it's his fault, through genetics, that I tend to call everyone George.

I wonder if that is something with dads. I don't remember him saying my actual name much either. It was always Mel, if not Fred.

those spiders are scary, aren't they? if my mother missed one when i was a kid, i wouldn't go in my room for at least 2 days. lol.
