I'm so happy for you that you've decided to do this! I'm glad you've moved on from procrastination and are getting things in order! As for me, I can't quite say the same thing, and for right now, my goal is getting into the college of my choice...my long-term goal would probably be being a part of Teach for America or joining the Peace Corps.

this post is amazing, like you broke something in order for the lovely things to come out or whatever. my mind is weird. anyways, sometimes lj is too dreamy, and okay, fantasy worlds are fun, but where does it lead you ( ... )

ooh gosh one of my favourite comments ever <3 very inspiring.
i hope to live in USA for a few months next year too. its something i feel i need to experience, & im hoping it will be a place i will feel at home.
your description of that girl is exactly what i want to be like. ive always had it in me, its just taking a while to come out.
my old best friend from when i was 13 was exactly like this, & she made such an impact on people she met. she made friends everywhere she went & she helped shape me so much.
those lyrics are amazing. i can relate to them so much right now. what is the song?
thankyou so much, ive always been living my life how other people wanted it to be but now im going to change that.

you are amazing, you know that? :]
oh yes - goals. TONS of them. my biggest
goal is to help save the world! ;P
i wanna work for an organization (amnesty,
red cross, greenpeace, etc), so then i can help
people AND travel at the same time ^^, also, i
wanna be a backpacker. that would be so great..
i have this long article/list of small things i want
to achieve. mostly it's things like 'always show that
you are grateful, take things as they come, seize the
unknown', blablabla.

gahh. i wish everyone would do this! most of my friends
have no clue what they want, and that is okay - but they refuse
to spend time thinking/doing something about it
because they think it makes them egocentric o_o

oh my thankyou, so are you i must say!

you know, your organization goal is kind of what i was thinking of doing
last night. i saw a programme in which this person went and helped out children and
teenagers who had certain disablilites or disorders & it looked amazing.
i loved how the children were so happy & smiley too.

oh i kind of have no clue what i want to do, but i always
try and do something about it.
& NO WAY is it egocentric.
its a shame some people think that.
we should seize life while we can

My last drama teacher (also friend and neighbour - Simon) is going to help me apply to acting school. I'm scared shitless quite frankly but finally this has come about because the want/fear scales that have haunted me for years have tipped and I can't bear living as I am anymore. He's starting an advanced acting class (basically audition classes) this coming month (September) and lastnight I paid him ... so I suppose that's one step closer. I could cry all day and all night lately I'm so afraid. I wasn't really telling anyone, but my mother (who founnd out from my friend Jordan who is also applying and taking the classes with me) has told half the world even though she said she wouldn't.

EXCITING.
oh i know completely what you mean about the want/fear scales.
im fed up of being scared of everything and scared of change. how will
i get anywhere if im like that?

the thing is though, once you have overcome one of your fears and realised
how it wasnt as bad as you thought, it makes me less scared of doing
all my other goals. im glad i took the first step now.

GOOD LUCK WITH ACTING SCHOOL. i was always too shy to take drama at school
& stuff, which i regret now because it looked immensely fun.
