I really loved juliet42 concept that Gabriel saves Bela from hell. This mix focuses on the moments before Gabriel descends into hell to retrieve Bela. He’s reflecting on their relationship; in my mind they’ve known each other for years. They where romantically attached but were never really a ‘couple’, sort of friends with benefits only more complicated. Also in my mind Bela doesn’t know he’s an archangel and never told him about the deal.
Gabriel’s also struggling with the idea of going into hell as obviously it’s not an easy feat and it may also reveal his true identify/whereabouts to the other angels/demons. However his love/attraction/need for Bela over rules everything else. Lavinia I imaged would be playing in Gabriel’s head as he fights his way through hell.
