power bill was only 500. they turned it on in less than two hours, which i spent playing guitar and building a model of the Al Hussein SCUD-B missile i'd like to park outside their headquarters.

and yes, i need power. if my rent were more reasonable perhaps i could live without power, but i'd damn well better have heat, cooking, and computing for what this is costing me.

will check into breaking my lease in preference for a bohemian existence. may be easier to justify in the summer. i'll get back to you.
