he's actually a lot less grumpy at my sister's place. I don't blame him though; it's so friggin dark and gloomy in my apt all the time. I swear the place has bad feng shui or something. can't wait to move the fuck out :(

Thankfully, I've been ordered by the boss not to drive cross-country anymore so after my trip to Denver in September I get to fly more. Yeehaw. D:

Be careful of the Illinois/Indiana border though. Chances are they are still doing construction on the tollway there which will lead to all sorts of traffic-related headaches and pain.

yeah, even driving up to Lafayette, IN (to Purdue), there was a shitload of road construction going on. traffic was still light, though, so it was fine.

everyone says driving into Chicago is an absolute nightmare.
