Browsing the grocer today and picked up a bottle of the Ace Joker cider, which is pretty good. Very dry as ciders go, but still pleasantly apple-ey, no unpleasant aftertaste or anything. 6.9% alcohol, too, so a bit more of a whack than most hard ciders these days.

That sounds good. I really enjoy the Ace Pear, and I have much more of a taste for dry cider than I used to.
Shotwell's just a few blocks away has Fox Barrel cider on tap, and that's pretty good. I see from their website that they make a currant cider; I should try to pick that up sometime.

Currant cider I think I could get into, yeah. Add more flavor without making it too sweet.

Fox Barrel I never had, sounds like it's a west coast thing. Maybe when I come home next month I can find it.
