[Finds the letter after sneaking out to get a few things. She sees the return address and knows there's only one person living there right now that's not droned...
Very very cautiously, Ran Fan looks around. She eventually finds him outside. She's not getting too close this time though.]
[He stayed back in his little self made cage. Sitting there crying. He wasn't going to try to respond this time, just hiding there in the darkness of his dog house.]
[Upon getting the letter and recognizing the address, Ling made his over to investigate. He was not happy with anything he had found. This was definitely the house Ran Fan had been placed in, and it seemed that all of the other residents were now drones.
...Except for the small pink ball he was now glaring at in the backyard. Not knowing what to expect, he had brought his sword with him again. At the moment, he's just standing there silently with a dangerous expression on his face.
It may look innocent now, but this was definitely the thing from the other night...]
[It was, but instead of talking it just sat in its little makeshift cage. Watching the one with the sword. He remembered the brief fight and just shook.]
[It did look remorseful, he noted. And Ran Fan had stated she did not think he was capable of it. All of the evidence was pointing directly to Kirby, however, and after all of the reports of injuries and deaths he was not willing to give him much pity.
So Ling is going to keep glaring at him for an uncomfortably long amount of time, considering all of his options.
Finally, he tightens his grip on his blade.]
I will be watching you.
[And with that, he turns and briskly walks away. Despite what he had done, attacking it while it seemed defenseless did not sit well with him.]
[Kirby would watch this one go. Listening as he spoke and walked away. The little puff though wasn't looking for pity in all of this and it just let him go. Kirby knew he had the right to feel angry, and he let out a sound after the man left.]
It sure took Axel a lot of work - going around the town and getting clues here and there. Whether she wanted him to or not, Ribbon's initial coldness towards him caused Axel to want to do anything to have her regain her trust in him.
Would he kill what killed her? Maybe. He just wanted to see what it was, first. Especially since they were calling the killer a 'what', not a 'who.'
Finally, he came across Kirby's house, and after some investigation, came to the back and saw the pink ball in the doghouse.]
[He heard the voice and looked out between his makeshift bars to see a stranger. He didn't recognize this one. He vaguely remembered avoiding drawing his attention though when...
Kirby would just nod at the man in response. He swallowed his quiet sobs to respond.]
[This... thing... looked far too innocent to hurt anyone. Though he knew better than anyone not to judge by appearances. All the same... for some odd reason, Axel couldn't help but feel this creature was only what seemed like a lost child.]
The girl mentioned lots of teeth... I don't even see any.
[Kirby flinched as he listened. Well Ribbon was back at least. Though that was the only good thing about this situation... the rest was pretty terrible. He tried confessing.]
[It took him awhile to muster up the bravery to even return to that street in search of the address, but once he was armed with the gun Vietnam had given him before? He felt just a little safer. Now he stood in the back yard to 1338 Benny, the gun shakily trained on Kirby. There are still tears in his eyes, and occasionally his entire body trembles. He doesn't fire, though. He just watches.]
[Also just watches through the little stick bars he put up. Sitting there, he did not try to avoid the barrel of the gun. Maybe he didn't know what it would do? He just kinda watched Latvia and cried.]
[He just nodded, or as well as a guy of his shape could nod. He wasn't hiding from his actions... He was so very calm. Either he expected this or he didn't know what was coming.]

You don't look like you'd hurt anything.
