And three days later I still suck. But I *know* it. My execution is just sloppy, but that's to be expected from learning a beastly song in 3 days

Sounds like you're getting the harmonics right, but the actual notes underneath are missed/out of place.

The biggest issue is trying to play it at full speed after learning it slow. and to make it worse, it's not a song that metronomes well at all.

Shows some promise... 3 days isn't all that long. You're certainly getting a nice tone, though.
