That's a toughie. I don't like my job very much at the moment, but I like my career a lot. I am glad that I seem to have lucked into the right track. But I see people doing really boring jobs - and not just the ones I plain do not get like business and law, and politics, but those jobs that really can't offer anything but a paycheck. I figure most of those people must have something in their life making it worthwhile. Those people that never left their home town and never went to college often seem happy enough with their families and life. If they don't get their fulfillment from their jobs, they must get it from somewhere else. I guess its an occasion where you have to prioritize. It's a toughie.

As for my own two cents....

I suppose the real question is, would that extra money make enough of an impact on your life that you're willing to give up a portion of your sense of job fulfillment just for the cash? I'd say that if your current salary is comfortable enough, stay where you're happy. You'll get a lot more out of life that way; take it from someone who teaches elementary niblets (and we all know that us teachers get paid crap).
