I've awoken to nothingness

My eyes are open but there isn't anything for me to see. At least nothing that I want to look at. My opinion of people has just taken a nose-dive and I didn't even like people very much in the first place. Now the one individual that is supposed to keep me from losing all faith in humanity has done the exact opposite. I really don't understand

a wise person once told me that nothingness is not always as bad as it feels. sure you may feel empty and maybe a little broken...but look at it this way : when you feel like you have nothing, what you really have is absolute potential. potential to do or become whatever you want! sometimes everything has to fall apart in order for other things to fall into place.
