$714.25 to replace the screen. I bent over and paid it. :)

yeh i dropped my machine off to the "Geek Squad" at Best Buy. worst idea ever.

i should've just gotten a new machine altogether.

Haha i kinda figured the Geek Squad was a little suspect the day John and I walked into Best Buy and one of their employees was a thuggish kid from our old apartment complex who we saw get hauled away by the cops once.

tell me about it. i just got my macbook back from repair a few days ago. this time it was because the bluetooth kept screwing up. they replaced my logic board (again--that makes 3 different boards for this laptop) and the BT board + cable. luckily this is all under warranty; the bill was over a grand!

jesus, that's insane. THREE TIMES w/the logic board! I guess I know what my next trip to see my new best friend will be about...
