So, it's been awhile. I may not be commenting to any responses b/c it's exam time. But I wanted to give an update.

Cons: I think I did very poorly on an exam today. I have a week until the next one, but that doesn't feel like enough time.

You are the coolest - always. You make the good choices, and sometimes the hard choices, but I think they will all serve you well.

Good luck on the exams. (and I bet you did better than you think)

I haven't seen you since May, so I'm just checking in on you.

Are you eating good? Studying hard? Staying out of trouble?

Find an internship? (How about an intern...? Rawr)

Think of me as your favorite nosey aunt that you have to check in with periodically or she'll call your mother. Then you hear, "Brody, would it be so much to ask to call your Auntie Supe every once in a while? You know she won't be around forever." You know... you can remind your mom that your aunt is only in her 40s, but she just thinks your arguing.

So, call your Auntie Supe! Just and update.

I just told someone else on my friend's list Happy Birthday, and he had mentioned that he was old enough to run for Congress, and it made me think of you and how long it has been since I heard anything. I don't want to interrupt the world's greatest study record, so if you honk your horn on the way by or something...

One of these days, I'll need you to talk some sense into me about politics. I recently became really discouraged by what I saw as corrupt people trying to use Christianity to get votes. I can't name any specific names, but it's just this overall feeling that I have that Christianity and politics became too close - and I didn't like that. So I was turned off to politics in general.

But I haven't been following specific stories, so I'm just going on general thoughts and feelings. You're one of the smartest people I know when it comes to politics, so one day after exams, you need to enlighten me. :)

I wish that I could reassure you and say that I don't believe politicians will use anything they believe will get them votes, but I have long believed that our government has lost its moral compass. I can tell you why *I* think that happened, although I believe lying has long been an unfortunate part of the nature of politics ( ... )
