Alex woke up to the sound of her cell phone ringing. She reached over to the nightstand, grabbed it and flipped it open without looking at the screen.

“Hello?” She answered, her voice hoarse from sleep.

“Oh damn it, did I just wake Olivia up?” Despite her drowsy mind, Alex could clearly hear the teasing in her friend’s voice.

OK, Alex, talk to Serena for a recommnedation and get yourself a good divorce lawyer. That pre-nup is for bullshit and a good lawyer can get her out of that arranged marriage with her daughter AND decent alimony/support. And maybe in a while Alex can take Benson as a name. You'd think it would be better than trotting around with her sleazy father's patronym. Stand up Alex and fight!
