i was all psyched up to go to Birka today. I was dressed and ready, even caffeinated, and all before my ride had even called to say he was on the way, and then i started with migraine symptoms. riding the emotional roller coaster tonight...

well, my surgery seems to have gone well, my head is in no danger of falling off, or being forgotten from not being attached... my throat is a bit sore cuz they had to move it aside to get to the disc they were taking out, but i'm told that will go away in a few days, so now all i have to do is kick back and heal for the next six weeks or so...

well, after 4 years of fighting for it, in a little less than 8 hours i will be going for disc fusion surgery on my neck... to say i am a little nervous might be understating it a bit...

all i can say is "Thank God that's over"...I hope this new year is better than the one just past...

Got up this morning and Mrrwlyn was in his accustomed spot in the old torn up chair by my computer desk, waiting to help me read my e-mail(he gets up on the desk itself to help me with the big words).
