Re-read all of "A Song of Ice and Fire" by GRRM, as I've forgotten most of it...
That's what I did over the summer, or I should say over the past couple of weeks. I did it two years ago too, back when we all thought the 4th book was coming out. I am about 100 pages shy of the end of SoS, so I should be ready when FfC comes out.
GRRM is such a tease. He better get that book out this time! Although honestly, I wouldn't mind if it took a bit longer...November 8th is coming up real fast. I wish I'd thought of re-reading SOIAF this summer. That was a smart move on your part, to get it done before school.
harry potter is back in my life!

hey there!
i had a wonderful weekend in ithaca, and borrowed all the harry potter books from betsye (her reading copies of course), and am now back in the wonderful world of muggles and magic.
it was cool to hear about all your classes, and am especially curious about this butt-wiggling professor...sounds enticing;)
it was funny to see the majority of my bookshelf on your summer reads list, speaking of, guess who was a guest reader at barnes and noble? tom robbins! and no, i didn't go to see him, i still have to see if i still like his books:)
Still got the list from the night you, Michelle and I traded author recommendations? Totally meant to send you home with books, but you had enough shit to tote around as it was. Should send you a care package of Gabaldon, Sedaris and Morrow... :)
Hey, I'm all about the care packages, and I'm definitely not gonna deter you...but I do still have the list. And my boyfriend does work at one of the most extensive libraries in the U.S. :)
Heh. The list you guys gave me is on a scrap of paper in my "stuff from NYC that I need to sort through" folder. Someday I'll get to it....
