Had a much better day today than the past few-- wasn't dead tired, and my motivation was back. Rock on. Set up the router in our house so that Judd and I can be online at *gasp* the SAME TIME! Very nice...futzed about with my desk, made it an actual workspace. Good stuff. AND, Judd and I are FINALLY beginning our workout routine tomorrow.

So, been slacking on my LJ reading... what's the latest on the mentor thing? Did you meet the girl? Are you gonna do it? I think you'd be badass...

I met up with her, and had a session that was kind of like my interview...It went really well. I received a very kind e-mail from her dad yesterday, though, that said that I was by far their first choice, but I guess she's decided to give it a go on her own this semester, and see whether she can tough it out. Kinda sucks for me, but it's cool she's taking that initiative for herself. But they said that if she needed help later on, they'd give me a call.

It was really neat, though, even for one session, being able to help someone learn. Something to consider for the future, after I'm all burnt out and bitter on policy-making... :)
