The whole situation is sorta driving me crazy. It was bad enough that my mom wasn't available to help with wedding planning stuff when she left, but now I might not even have my dad down there to help arrange things. I'm glad that I only have a couple of vendors left to get, and your dad is helping with one of them by talking to a caterer at his office. Of course, wedding planning isn't the only thing we're dealing with right now. The end of the semester is coming up, and Kevin is busy finishing up his thesis. Both of us are searching for employment down in Anchorage, as well as a place to live (though your parents have offered to let us stay at their place until we find something, and if my dad leaves, then we have his place). There's just a lot of transitioning going on, and it makes me not want to do anything, because I feel that if I start working on things, then I'll just get overwhelmed.
