So I'm starting to get really excited about playing Geist with my husband and our friends. I have high hopes for the group meshing well, since all the people involved at least take it somewhat seriously. :D I could never be your GM. In my campaign, at one point one of my players had been looking to get his hands on a mask of true-seeing. After thinking about it, I had him go to the mask shop in Starfall (an adventurer's metropolis), where the clerk told him of a custom mask they hadn't been able to sell and had recently dropped the price on. It seems a local noble was hosting a costume party and had ordered a mask with the properties of true-seeing (which overcomes any magical concealment) and x-ray vision. It was made to look like a pair of thick-rimmed glasses, but attached to it were a fleshy nose and bushy eyebrows and mustache.

He wanted true seeing goggles. I sold him Groucho Marx goggles of Trueseeing and X-Ray vision. Now he wears them into battle and I make fun of him every single time. He's always like, "Whatever. I can see everything."

I like to mess with my players a little.
