Oh, how I adore this exquisitely detailed world you've created! And your writing, of course; as I comment, I can totally feel the blistering Karchesan sun, taste the floral notes in the oranges, hear the cacophony of the Grand Market, and sense the growing ease between Zayven and Arya. You effortlessly capture the feeling of simultaneously feeling a bit sick of a new place and homesick for your family. It's always so nice to see a bit of mischief in Ami (love how she tells him to be careful at the Laughing Camel) along with her customary brilliance (translating from Taelian to Karchese in her head). Take your time with this one. It's such a lingering pleasure to read that I think most of us would gladly wait another two years if need be ;)
