This! Wow, really had a feel to it, rural, remote, cold. I'm amazed how simply and effectively you implied a different language while still using only English.

Also, wow, didn't see that second half coming. I figured Zoi would meet Ami and realize that all snow angels weren't bad or something. xD I love where you went though, 1.) That, for him, snow angels aren't all pretty and harmless. 2.) That dark twist at the end. @.@ Rei killed him? Rei got Ami to kill him? Something else? I don't know! I'd love to know more!!!

(slightly disjointed, writing a term paper atm. >.>)

Thanks!! That's exactly what I was going for, trying to evoke a different language :) and certainly the rural, remote, and cold setting.

I guess the most fun would be that it is open to interpretation, which of course it is, but what I had in mind was Rei being more in touch with the old ways (but not a snow angel herself) and that being somehow connected to Ami killing Zoi (whether this was a simple invocation of the snow angels or Rei actually knowing Ami personally is up to the reader ^^). Although another interesting part is that Ami kisses him before/while she does it, and he has a fold of her dress in his hand when he's found.

Not disjointed at all -- I'm in the middle of studying for a big exam and it's frying my brain, so I can sympathize with the feeling. Good luck with the paper!
