So today I was reminiscing a little. Mostly about elementary school and how different Parker school was to Moses Brown. So my 5th grade valentine's day horror would have been more successful if I had given her the gift in secret and told her after the fact? That would have been nice to know...then again so would have finding out that she'd gotten a boyfriend the night before. Would have helped. Darn those memories.

hah, yeah I guess so. So next time your in elementary school I strongly suggest taken the secret admirer route. Then admitting in some hidden non-flashy way right before you'll never see her again...and then 15 years later, you will have won her heart. The recipe to success, my man.

Sounds better than the actual outcome: where seven years after the fact she assumed I was gay. It was a really encouraging step in the wrong direction. Except for the part where it made me think it was probably okay that it didn't work out.
