She got up from the sofa for about the 20th time in an hour and moved back towards the window, there was a horrible twisted feeling in her stomach and she couldn't push it away. What had happened to him, how badly was he hurt, was he alive?

Even though, for some reason, she knew he was, that question kept coming up. Was he alive? She looked out and onto the sand once more before turning back away and sitting back down with Snake and curliing up against him. She wouldn't cry, no she wouldn't cry.

Snake had been trying to comfort her through thi but what could he say? He was for once glad Aggie didn't really know what the streets were like otherwise she would be crying by now. He had just got comfortable with her when he heard the doorbell.

He gave Aggie a smile and a pat on the shoulder before going downstairs. Snake opened the door and the boy almost ran from him. Sighing heavily he looked back up and called to Aggie.

She grabbed a bag and almost slid down the stairs as she ran down them, her heart was pounding fast and she stopped and looked at the boy as she held onto Snake, 'Where is he? Is he ok? How badly is he hurt?'

Rembrandt was staring at Snake like he might actually bite him when Aggie's voice came through and he glanced at her.

Swan is at the pier.

Snake was looking out toward the beach. I'm walking with you. I don't trust this bullshit.
