Swan woke up alone and it put him in a bad mood. He knew it was her job but he still hadn't got used to her disappearing at night. He dressed and suffled around the apartment for awhile. He didn't want to stay here, not without her. He went for a walk around the block and stopped at the florists. He didn't know why. Maybe because Snake did all the ( Read more... )

When she got home and saw the vase and rose, and the note, Aggie wanted to cry. She missed him too, she missed him so much, it seemed like all they had time for was to sleep in the same bed. Between his duties and her own, there was no time for the two of them.

Swan was sitting up on the pier. Most of his close friends were out on patrol. It did nothing to alleviate the boredom or the loneliness. He just stared out at the waves trying not to think of anything or anyone.

Seeing him, Aggie came up behind him, wondering if he would feel her presence through the chain around his neck. Kneeling behind him she placed a soft kiss on his shoudler, "Thank you for my flower, it was beautiful."

Swan could feel something but more so he heard her coming before she got to him. SHe didn't sound like anyone else walking to his ears. She was quieter and lighter, soft foot steps. He smiled and reached back touching her hair. He was just glad to have her back.

I saw it walking past the florist.

As usual he tried to play down the menaing of the gift. It was his way because out on the streets gifts were rare. He leaned his head back and kissed her cheek.

Are they alright? He had no idea who she was with. Sometimes that bugged him because of jealous and others he was concerned about what would happen to her if she couldn't make things better for who ever she had gone to see.
