Swan was waiting at his usual place up on the boardwalk when he saw Rembrandt come dashing back. He didn’t seem scared and so Swan went back to watching the rest of the Warriors building up a huge bonfire up the beach from where he stood. Washed and changed she twisted her hair up and pinned the flowers in it, letting a few stray strands drop down and around her face. Her shoes swung in her fingers as she walked barefoot down the streets and towards the beach.

Seeing him there she smiled, her heart beating that little bit faster as she got closer, finally she let out a low whistle, something a little like a wolf whistle.

Swan was already watching her when she whistled. Smiling he jumped down from the pier into the sand and waited for her. His eyes turned to watch the others glaring at the new members who didn't know not to look at her that way.

Walking up to him she didn't stop to say anything else she just wrapped her arms around him, kissing him deeply. Lovingly.

She'd missed him more than she could say with words, but she knew he knew.
