one. Lovecraft tends to fall squarely between dieselpunk and steampunk, doesn't it? You can really do either style for your story. I would make one of these right the fuck now if I knew of an all-night craft store and had a jar on hand.

Eat lots of pasta and keep the sauce jars. Some of them (like Classico) are even graduated. Iced tea or coffee mix also comes in glass fairly often. For smaller jars, look to jelly or mustard. If you were going to eat it anyway, the jars are free.
As for “Propping up the Mythos”, I had a link to it from the old MR web site until Tony made me remove it (along with all references to other games). He had only recently added the misspellings to “shuggoth” and “servitor”, and I think he was still trying to claim ignorance of Lovecraft should anyone ever sue.

This would be the obligatory mention of how my game would lovelovelove it if you brought an alchemy lab with you. Our alchemists have a pretty nice setup, but more can only make it better.
