I went over my schedule for the next two years, pretty much, and I think I'll be okay with just four classes - languages count for an extra two units each, and I need two semesters of one for transfer, anyway, and I'll have to take six classes some semester, but I'll just take metalworking/jewelry or ceramics. Sooo apparently my mom's just decided I'm taking too many classes, and she won't pay for one! ALSO. this has annoyed me for years.
Iran is pronounced "ee-rahn." 'Iranian' is pronounced "ee-rahn-ee-an." Doesn't that make more sense than "eye-ran" having "eye-rain-ee-ans?" Relatedly, Iraq is "ee-rawk."
