Character Information

Name: Adam Milligan.

Fandom: Supernatural

Background: Adam Milligan. Born on 29th September 1990 to Kate Milligan. Kate Milligan was a nurse who worked the grave-yard shift at the hospital. Adam has basically half raised himself. He's cooked his own dinners, cleaned up after himself, and put himself to bed. He never knew his father and only found out about him when he was twelve. He found his father's cellphone number in his mothers thing's and kept pestering her to meet him. He finally met his father John Winchester when he was twelve. Ever since then, John would stop by once a while, mostly on his birthdays to visit. John took him to a baseball game, and when he was fifteen for his first beer.

Adam was an Eagle Scout. He graduated from his high-school with honours. He was studying at the University of Wisconsin, as a Biology Major, and Pre-Med. He drives a pick up and it's implied he had a girlfriend while at college.

Adam was killed by ghouls when he was nineteen. Ghouls usually take the form, memories, and personality of the person they last ate. This ghoul took the form of his mother, and lured him, before killing and eating him. The ghouls then took his form and lured Sam and Dean and tried to kill them too. The Winchester brothers killed them of course, and burned Adam's body like they would for any other hunter. Of course Adam doesn't know that.

Almost a year later, Adam's soul was approached in Heaven - which looked more like his high-school prom, where he was making out with his date - by the angel Zachariah. Zachariah told him about the on-going Apocalypse, and said that he was Archangel Michael's vessel, and that Adam would help Michael kill Lucifer and save the world. Zachariah then promised him, that he'd revive Adam's mother too, if Adam consented. Adam agreed and he was revived by the Angels, and found himself buried under where the Winchesters burnt his body. When he finished climbing out, with help, he passed out and the angel Castiel took him to Robert “Bobby” Singer's residence. Castiel branded his ribs with Enochian sigils to hide his presence from the other Angels. When he came too, he met his half-brothers Dean and Sam Winchester for the first time. Sam and Dean tried to explain their side of the story to Adam, who didn't believe it. (Angels wouldn't lie.) He still stayed because of Sam's plea that if he'd had even one good memory of their father, he'd give them a chance. He still didn't trust them, but they were blood.

Zachariah approached him in his dreams, and asked him why he wasn't at the meeting place. He then convinced Adam once again to work with the Angels and if he did, he'd get to see his mother. Adam agreed, told Zachariah where he was, and Zachariah fetched him.

Zachariah later revealed to Adam that he was using him as bait to lure Dean Winchester, Michael's real vessel into saying yes to allow Michael to possess him. Dean and Sam arrived to save him. Dean tricked Zachariah into thinking that he'd say yes, and calling Michael. Then when Zachariah was distracted by Michael arriving, he killed him, and they tried to get out of the room. However Adam never made it out before Michael arrived fully and took him away.

Adam is next seen later talking to Sam being possessed by Lucifer. But it's actually Michael possessing him. Sam manages to regain control of his body, and jump into Lucifer's cage. When Michael tries to stop him, Sam pulls him in too, implying that Sam, Lucifer, Michael and Adam are now in Lucifer's cage in Hell.

The last scene of Supernatural shows Sam standing outside Dean's house, meaning that he got out, and fee from Lucifer's possession. I'm working on the assumption that it means that Adam got out as well. If this is not okay with you, please inform me, and I'll try to find a way around it.

Are you taking this character from a another RP? No

Personality: Family is a very important aspect to Adam. He would do about anything for them. However he's clearly stated that he believes that blood does not necessarily make someone family. His family begins and ends with his mother. Despite that he does sort of think as the Winchesters as family. Evidenced as much when Sam pleads with Adam to give them a chance and Adam does. And again when Zachariah reveals the con, and he tries to get Dean out of the room because he knows it's a trap.

Adam in a sense is a Mommy's boy, he knows this, and he doesn't care if the rest of the world knows. The fact that he'd simply get to see his mother again was the main reason he actually said yes to work with the angels, in the first place. From the beginning, Adam and his mother were on their own. Adam believes that she's done her best to take care of him and make sure he grows up into a good well rounded human being, and Adam tries at every point in his life to give back to her because of that. He's grown up taking care of the house, so that his mother wouldn't have to do extra work when she got back home from the hospital. He chose his field of study and career, based on her career. In a sense it's safe to say a large part of his life revolves around her.

He's very bitter about the fact that almost everything that's happened to him over the events of the series are only because he's John's son. His mother and him were eaten alive only because he was John's son. It's very likely that he does hold John responsible for his death in a way, and even more importantly for his mother's death. Even after that the only reason the angels used him as bait was because of his connection to John. And the only reason Michael could have used his as a vessel was because he's John's bloodline.

He is bitter about Dean and Sam too. It's partly their fault that he got involved in the Apocalypse. The angels resurrected him as bait, only because Dean kept saying 'no'. Michael only used him as a vessel, because he couldn't use Dean. And there was the bit where you know, Sam dragged him into Lucifer's cage in Hell. While Adam could possibly forgive a lot of things, it's sort of hard to move on from, or forgive that.

He may never admit it, but he's also jealous of his half-brothers Dean and Sam. John raised Dean and Sam, and despite everything he was actually there for them when they really needed it. Sam and Dean got to spend their formative years with him. They got training which helped them survive. They got to see a whole lot of sides of their father. They got their Dad being angry at them, or giving them a pat on the back when they did something he approved off. Adam got none of that. For him, John was the guy who showed up once in a year, and took him to a baseball game. In essence John was a complete stranger to Adam. Like he said to Sam, "I would've taken anything."

Mostly though he dislikes his connection to the Winchesters. To Adam who has grown up being independent, while his mother adds to his identity, to him it feels that his connection to Winchesters takes away from his identity completely. When it comes to any of them, he becomes that illegitimate bastard son, or the bastard half-brother, and not Adam.

He used to believe that Angels were good guys. Not so much now. They pretty much screwed him over seven ways from Sunday. Hate is not a strong enough word to describe his feelings towards them. Really. He also really hates Ghouls. Don't need an expert to figure out why.

From the ghoul impersonating Adam, it's implied that Adam is usually soft spoken, and friendly. He's trusting, from the way he immediately believed that both the Winchesters were indeed his half brothers. But at the same time he's not stupid to blindly trust someone, seen by how he confronted them later, when Dean told the police exactly where to look for his mother's body, before he and Sam took off. He'll give someone the benefit of the doubt. Though how much of that is true and how much was simply the ghoul baiting the Winchesters is unknown.

What can be said with full backing however is that Adam is cocky. He has a very sarcastic side, considering how he back-talked to both Sam and Dean. He won't hesitate to verbally chew a person out if he feels that they're trying to 'bullshit him'. Sam would be able to attest to that.

He's hard working, focused on his goals, and prioritises things. On account of having to take care of himself since he was a kid and his mother working odd hours at the hospital, Adam is very independent, self-reliant, and responsible. He can cook, and clean up after himself perfectly well. He's also slightly domesticated because of this, and is a bit of a neat freak. He doesn't see it as a bad thing.

Post everything that's happened, Adam is just trying to get his life back on track again. He's in the process of patching himself together. He has his memories of Hell, and some of Michael's, mixed with his own and he's given up trying to make sense of them. He was pulled from a normal life, to a crazy one, and had his world-view completely shaken. Now that he knows it exists, the supernatural has him slightly paranoid. He's not stupid to just ignore the possibility that he could face the supernatural in the future, and should the day ever come he wants to be prepared for it. Also because of how Archangel possession is shown to affect vessels which are not their real ones, combined with everything else, it's safe to say he may not be all there in the head any more. He's jumpy around people, and tries to avoid crowds altogether. He's messed up, and while he won't exactly show it, but he knows it and is working on getting not-messed up. Though not necessarily in a healthy manner.

He's become single mindedly focused on trying to go back to his old life, so that he can just close this horrible chapter of his life and move on. He's moved back to his old house in Windom, and plans to go back to University next year for the new semester. He still wants to be a doctor, and save lives. He has gone back to studying and revising all his old notes to get himself ready for entrance exams. He's working part-time at the town library so that he has some form of income, and to save up for his fees. When he's not studying however, he's going through every single book in the library and every internet page which has any information on how to ward against the supernatural, and self training to use a gun or knife should he ever need it.

Mostly he's just trying to find a bridge between who he was, because he doesn't want to give up that Adam, while integrating it with who he's become now.

Appearance Changes (if applicable): He'll stay the same physical traits wise, and personality wise.

Powers/Abilities: No supernatural abilities. However since Adam is a Pre-Med and majoring in Biology, with his mother also being a trained nurse, it's safe to assume he has a lot of knowledge on both subjects.

Family Situation: Adam will obviously be living with Haven's version of his mother, who was never attacked by ghouls and never died.

Job: He goes to University. (Assuming Haven has one?)

First Person Sample:This is odd. Not that I mind it but...

Okay I actually do mind it. What kind of sick joke is this Michael? I know you're out there listening to me. I know you're a damned archangel who couldn't care less about us mud men. But you and me? We need to have a few words.

You promised me my mother back if I helped you. You promised me my old life back if I said yes. And this is how you repay me? By sticking me in this crazy place to save the damn world again?

Yeah remember when I said yes to help you save the world the last time? That was fun, wasn't it? You threatened to send my mother's soul to Hell. We got molotoved with Holy Oil. Being put back together with Angel glue isn't fun you know. I went to Hell because you were possessing me. And this is how you fucking repay me for all that?

Get me out of here you bastard. I'm not playing hero again.

Third Person Sample: Adam blinked a few times, to prove that the sight in front of him wasn't a lie. He couldn't believe his eyes. Not after everything that had happened to him. But the sight in front of him was real after all. Mom was here.

No way. He was dreaming. He had to be. Last he remembered mom was dead. She'd been eaten alive by those things. Any moment now, the dream would turn into a nightmare and he'd re-live that moment. He knew it. Mom wasn't here.

But there she was. And smiling at him like he always remembered her smiling. Alive.

"Adam, are you even listening?"

His breath caught in his throat. She was alive. Good God, mom was alive and not dead, and healthy, and fine, just like he'd always knew her. Adam stepped forward and hugged her tight. She was real and in his arms, and Adam couldn't ever ask for anything more.

"Adam honey, are you all right? Is everything fine?"

"Everything's fine mom," he choked out, burying his face into her shoulder. "I just missed you."
