Three Is Better Than None

Yay for awesome women!

I think TMP got better as the season went on, and I hope it continues into the next season. I did get a little tired of her endless string of boyfriends/love interests, though I guess they need to keep that to maintain the UST between her and Danny (just get together already!).

Elementary is awesome. Joan is awesome. I love that in the first season alone they introduced strong, diverse women, with the transgender Ms. Hudson and Irene/Moriarty (and how the only other person besides Sherlock to surprise her was Joan). And Joan has her own species of bee named after her! Boss.

For two freshman shows they really surprised me and grew from strength to strength. I'm starting to feel like I need to consume television this way, getting into shows for the first four seasons or so when they are excellent and letting myself let them go when they start to deteriorate instead of being so loyal that I stay on forever and have to watch them until the bitter end and love them less. I stopped watching The Office when Steve Carell left and then came back for the finale and I'm glad I did because I still look back on it so fondly!
