I don't know what it is about my parents' house. I always wake up congested, then it goes away. I just take a hot shower, cough out all that crap, then go on my way. no problem

Jagermeister, but I can't find anything on the bottle, the box which the bottle was in, or the website that would verify that it actually contains codeine. Mom gave me Jagermeister once when I was little and had a really bad cough. I know it worked then. She says the label used to say it has codeine.
Maybe they stopped putting it in the recipe. I don't know what codeine is supposed to feel like. I guess I don't feel like coughing anymore...
Ahh. Jager. I thought you meant liquid-suspension codeine (or cough syrup with codeine). My friend gave me some of that once and I sat for about half an hour, watching the tiles in the ceiling move.
I think it usually indicates a serious condition. Mom and Dad aren't worried, though.
My patient last week said that his doctor said that sometimes you can just cough too hard and rupture a blood vessel somewhere. He had Robitussin with Codeine prescribed, so I'm going to try that for myself and see what happens.
I bought straight Robitussin and also Robitussin with Benylin, a non narcotic anticough medicine, in case the Jagermeister really doesn't have Codeine in it.
We studied tb extensively last semester. I missed every question on the test, and now I don't know anything. I was going to look it up, but in the midst of finals, I haven't gotten around to it.
Guaifenesin syrup and Jager placebo is working great for me. If you're convinced you have allergies, you should keep it up with the antihistamines. But zinc and vitamin C and echinacea won't hurt.
Yeah, I just like to sound smarter than I really am. It's written "Robitussin (guaifenesin)" on our tests.
I'm also taking pills in the A.M. 'cause I'm totally neurotic and don't want to mix narcotic and non narcotic antitussives when I am able to consume a potential narcotic at night. Robitussin (guaifenesin), Benylin (dextromethorphan), Sudafed (pseudoephedrin). couldn't find any without the Sudafed.
Oh, I didn't realize your cough was productive. Yeah, cough it all out, and actually, guaifenesin might help you. Shoot for 3L water per day also.
And never underestimate the power of the mind.
Get Bree to pray for you, and it'll probably be gone within the hour.

i stopped antihistamines after reading that if the cough is productive, it's better to keep coughing. antihistamines can dry out.
i'm doing the zinc/c/echinacea.
i think i'm just gonna talk myself into believing it's gone.
