celebrity death haiku: Jeff Conaway

Fame slowed down for him,
But then it never quite stopped--
Like a yellow light.

(I just now found out he died. Very sad.)

Big decision. Disappear for a month or two. Reappear on an 21 syllable obituary.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, girl. You had me worried.

A thousand apologies! The big decision I wrote of in my last post was which new job to accept; the one I chose is at a biotech startup in Columbia. Longer commute, longer hours, harder work, and I'm really happy, so there ya go ... not having a surly micromanaging supervisor makes all the difference. But since I'm actually *working* now, I got no time to goof off online. But yeah, should have posted a follow-up.

Also in the interim I went to Rome again. It's much cleaner than I remembered. Apparently the whole Euro thing has worked out for them.

Cool then. Glad you're OK, and even gladder (is that a word or an advertisement jingle?-Do you remember cleaning tomatoes with Vim? [Gusto]) that you're out from under the insufferable. Thanks for the update. The world requires a quantity of Lynda.
