I do not have high hopes for this season of Spartacus. With Lucy Lawless, John Hannah, Peter Mensah, and Nick Tarabay's characters killed off, all the fun is sucked out of it and it's just bad CGI and video-game soundtracks. I'm going through a similar process with Downton Abbey. I think season 3 is where I get off the railway car.

It's pretty much the same thing ... obscure show nobody bothered watching makes its way onto Netflix instant view, where it picks up a huge cult following and then tries to hold onto that audience by amplifying its offerings (same old, times ten), but by the third season the formula is played out and becomes self-parody.
