Today was my first day off from work in 10 days. I have been working 55+ hours a week for the last 2 weeks including many 12 hour days. The holidays are INSANE around my work and it is my job to organize it all. Impossible! Last night we went out with Tracy, Nate and Andrew. We went to dinner for Nathan's birthday at a yummy restaurant in Larimer Square, Rioja. After dinner we proceeded to the Larimer Lounge to see Aqueduct. We missed the first few songs, but they were great as always.

So it's almost 2:00pm and I just woke up. Today is my day off. I was very excited about this. I was going to have an entire day home alone all to myself. I watched a really great movie last night: Born Into Brothels. It is a documentary about a woman who travels to Calcutta to photograph the lives of the prostitutes and their families who live in the red-light district. She ends up befriending 8 children of the prostitutes who show an interest in photography and gives them each a point and shoot ( Read more... )

Tonight Q and I went to see the "sneak preview" of The Corpse Bride. (Thanks to copesounds, who gave us the tickets).
