back from the bay area! friends, san francisco is beautiful. the presentation went well and we got some good feedback and i got to hear talks by some scientists i wanted to. the air buzzed with the sheer concentration of nerds in one place. i went to alcatraz and chinatown and city lights bookstore and walked up and down a lot of hills. went to
