My teeny ancient grandmother lived in southern Colorado and was subject to many door-to-door mormon missionaries. She used to run them off with her broom. She was simply enraged that anybody thought her faith needed altering
How are you on Jehovahs Witnesses? They seem more common than Mormons here...
I look at the person rather than the professed faith in anycase... there are many who talk faith rather than live it. I admire those that live it. And I know two Mormons that I admire without ever actually meeting them.

They took the Bible and used their own interpretations to make their own religion.
It's not following the word, just the parts they liked better or agreed with more.
Oh... wait... that's what all Christian based sects have done. I think of them all the same.
The individuals, however, is a different story. I refuse to lump an entire group of people and blanket thoughts and views over them.
I come from a place of personal respect, the choices they have made and live with are their own.
I don't need a higher power or a religious official to tell me I need to be a good person. I'm a good person because I want to be.
