[Masterpost/index] My J-Drama List :D
This is for anyone who is curious of what kind of JAPANESE Dramas and Movies I've watched and which do I recommend.
And plus, this is or myself, really. Feel free to leave any questions or comments~! Anything I mention here is something I sat through day in and day out to watch. I'm very picky and will always hunt for something worthy of my taste. In ABC order:
Bara no Nai Hanaya
The first official Japanese Drama I watched and found on my own (it was unopened on the DVD shelf)
If you like lightly twisted yet sweet father daughter relationships, here's the drama that got me reeled into -dramas :D
Boss: Season 1 & 2
I HIGHLY recommend BOTH Season :D The cast is the best cast. The second season cast is okay.
Comical yet seriously good. If you like Sleuth shows, this is my number one favorite :D
I do love the first season more, but the second one is great as well. ^^
Gokudo no Sensei: Season One
2nd drama I have ever watched. (Never Jun-baited. Always V6-baited ;D)
I love the first cast. I am a Jun fan, but I am more of a Oguri Shun and Hiroki Narimiya fan :D
The best drama about friendship between classmates and a teacher's love for her students.
Hanazakari no Kimitachi e Ikemen Paradise: Version One
First drama I ever watched with my sister.
(Kurosagi was the actual drama I watched day in and day out with her)
I'm no fan of re-makes. Not even the Re-make of the Japanese one. >:(
I love the first cast and will always love the first cast. Same goes for Gokudo no Sensei.
Hana Yori Dango
One of the next dramas I watched with my sister.
I watched the Korean one before I watched the J-version. I hate anything Korean now.
Very true to the manga. I also love the cast.
Hayami-san to Yobareru hi
V6-baited. I wouldn't have watched it if Inohara wasn't there.
Anyways, I think this is a nice family drama. Do try to watch it. :D
Kimi wa Petto
V6- baited. Shocked to see Nagano in there xD Another one I watched with my sister. I am 100 percent for this version. MatsuJun depicts Momo the best. :Db This also taught me something about life and pets. If you are a pet owner or an animal lover, this is for you :D
Kisarazu Cat's Eye
V6-baited. LOL. Okada is aweseome. The two movies are good as well. The cast is really wonderful and so is the plot. IF you like crying every episode, here's the drama for you. IF you enjoy laughing and becomnig confused, this is the drama for you. Best Life drama ever.
Kurosagi: Drama
Watched it. Bored with most episodes. Don't really recommend it. It is like watching Ryusei no Kizuna.
Liar Game: Season 1, 2 & Final Movie.
Effing good. Mind blowing. The cast is awesome. I'm going to watch the next movie because it is that good.
Lunch Queen
Was good. The food looked good. Then the plot became predictable. Then the ending sucked and made me die of boredom. Disappointing. However, I still put it here because I fell in love with omlette rice while watching this.
Majo Saiban
I liked this. Its like the Liar Game, but toned down into only the court room. I like Ikuta Toma in this besides Hana Kimi :DDDD But the ending really made me want to rip something up. I wished there was a second season. It seemed as though it was no real closure.
My Sassy Girl: Japanese Remake ~Ryoki Teki na Kanojo~
I know this was a Korean movie at first, but this one was done hysertically. I am not SMAP-biased nor was I SMAP-baited to watch this. Rena and Tsuyoshi were very good actors. I also like the twist on the original plot. I've watched the korean one before this one, so I thought that Japan made this remake very nicely.
Nagareboshi
To be honest, I didn't think I would like this drama. I only considered watching it because of the actor Yutaka Takenouchi who played the charming and cool Nodate from BOSS. ;D I ended up liking this drama yet hating Inagaki Goro of SMAP because of his dumb character. Anyways, the ending was predictable, but its good int he middle. So here it is.
