HEY GUYS. I forgot to tell y'all I watched From Up on Poppy Hill. Its really good. I suggest you to not read what the plot is. It'll ruin it for you definitely.
Yeah it wasnt as good as Hayo Miyazaki's creations, but it was better than the other works Goro Miyazaki created before this movie. Goro likes realism more than his father's genre, fantasy. :D
No matter how many times I watch it, the scene where the brother thinks about his sister always gets to me. It breaks anyone's heart to find out that the movie was based on a true story. ;_;
Hotaru no Haka is the only Ghibli film that made me cry rivers. TT^TT
(And I agree about Okada's voice not fitting Shun... I think he did better job voicing Umi's dad I think that was his voice anyway... and I hope that wasn't a spoiler. XDDDD)

Glad I'm not the only one who was a bit bothered. It probably was because he has a more mature/older voice so Okada seemed to fit Umi's dad better.

I love how it was filmed around everyday scenes. And the music is beautiful;
The story is lovely too.
