[It's a nice little place, the walls of snow rather high, but more like a garden wall would be than the one separating the cities. The other graves are nameless, but still maintained, however not as well kept as the main one]

*looking around for the bird, then for something to put at the grave*

[There's flowers growing in some part of the garden, but the bird's nowhere to be found]

[There's sort of a strange feeling in the air, like a cat hissing and arching it's back]

It's just out of politeness. It would be rude not to make a gesture.

[There are some snakes, it's said, that despite not having proper rattles, can still produce a loud, warning tone. This scraping, grinding noise is actually the animal undulating it's sides against itself as it rears up.

Why this is mentioned now is pretty obvious, it's rather close to what it'd sound like if it was a noise right now. Instead it's a feeling in the air, and settling down deep into one's very bones]
