The seaweed is always greener in somebody else's lake. You dream about going up there but that is a big mistake. Just look at the world around you, right here on the ocean floor. Such woeful things surround you-- What more are you looking for?

Just some old mock thing. Washed up, superfluous. It's not like I have anything better to do with my time than warn you children. I can't even get a good night's sleep these days. 'lo and behold! The most miserable of beasts!

Everything. The tide's washing in, and none of you have your sunscreen on. Water enhances the sunlight, and the sunlight enhances the age of your skin. And then you look old. Just as old as you are in the inside. You'll fade in age to become an old mock thing like myself. Such a tragedy.

I'm a turtle. You know, when we leave the ocean, we cry to remove the salt from our bodies.

And because we just cry in general.

Because our lives are so sad.

Since they are.

So pushy. Perhaps you could wait and see? That seems the best option. It's quite rude to badger a poor, knobbly mock thing like myself. Where has today's youth gone? Where was that bright shine in the eyes of the young? It used to inspire me, you know. Back when I could be inspired. That was some ages ago.
