we just had our first apartment fire! well, technically second, but this one we all saw. it's rare that we're all in the kitchen at the same time ... so we're standing there and suddenly we hear this loud POP. my roommate turned on the wrong burner upon which sat a plate. the plate cracked into a few pieces, the napkin sitting on it caught on fire
