woo hoo, an update! Ok, so basically I am really happy right now. I love my floor, I love my classes (I dropped gothic art to have more time for the GRE and applying to grad school) and in general I just feel at the top of my game ( Read more... )

I did the anon comment thing and got some really cool responses, until someone started posting really mean stuff. I was able to figure out pretty easily who it was, but it pissed me off ( ... )

Dont worry, I was super burned out from all the class and RA stuff, and I am just now coming out of it, so you definitely arent alone. I also cant even remember the last time I was at the mall, but I know it is probably going on two weeks, which is scary long for me. Its all good though, because I will probably be shopping for my experiment in the next two weeks!

I'm definitely getting sick - I feel like a walking zombie. 6 more hours of class, and then I'm freeeeeee!

Hmmm... I don't think I've been to the mall in months. I'm looking to buy a knee length skirt (all of my skirts are either really short, or really dressy), a belated anniv gift for Scottie (any suggestions?) & check out some big dept store sales.

Is there a store called Paresians in STL? A friend of mine found Coach bags marked down to $30 there, and I could get back to the ebaying ;)

what exactly is your thesis? or is that a secret?

Haha, it isnt a secret at all. I am looking at a scale devoloped in the early 70's that measures fashion opinion leadership, and basically divides the population into people who care and dont care about clothes to generalize. I then am looking at those results and seeing if there is a correlation with an affinity for designer clothing. The second part looks at designer jeans and their owners to see if cognitive dissonance plays a role. All that makes me sound a lot smarter than I am, but it really is pretty simple once you wrap your mind around it. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
