*It hadn't been an easy decision to put Gospel in the CR first. Quint wanted to know who'd done this. But if he'd repaired Forte first, Forte would have been furious to find the wolf still damaged. And Forte was capable of figuring out how to use the CR or find help on his own. At least with Gospel repaired first there was a fair chance the wolf wouldn't mangle him as he'd still be needed to repair Forte.*

*Gospel was laying right next to the CR after being repaired, growling slightly if anyone came too close to him, and waiting for Forte.*
